Thursday 9 November 2017, marked London Transport Museum’s first Skills Late: Talent Transported. The event welcomed over 200 young people, parents/guardians, educators and careers advisors for an inspiring evening about careers in transport and infrastructure.

As the cultural heart of London’s transport industry, The Museum brought together a coalition of transport and infrastructure employers searching for their future workforce and untapped talent. Employers included the Museum’s Enjoyment-to-Employment sponsors, Transport for London, telent, Costain and Hitachi Rail Europe and many more all recruiting for apprentices and graduates ranging from levels 3 to 6.

Skills Late: Talent Transported was a vibrant combination of facilitated careers conversations and hands on activities all set to the backdrop of the Museum’s collection, live DJ and designed to create a facilitated opportunity for careers

Michelle Dix (Managing Director, Crossrail 2) sparked the night with a fun challenge that galvanised young people and employers to network, exploring opportunities and answering questions.
